Here's the most awaited news Thala fans have been waiting for! Viswasam will finally go on floors from May 4. The shooting will take place at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. Special sets have been erected already for the film shoot. The film shoot was expected to begin in March 23, but was put on hold due to the TPFC strike which ended last Tuesday. 

Viswasam is said to be set in the backdrop of north Chennai with Ajith reportedly playing the role of a police officer. The project is helmed by director Siva and marks the fourth collaboration of the duo. Nayanthara plays the leading lady. The other cast members include Arjun, Bose Venkat, Robo Shankar, Yogi Babu and Thambi Ramiah. 

The film is bankrolled by SathyaJyothi Films. The technical crew includes Imman for Music, Vetri for cinematography, Ruben for the edits and Anl Arasu for the stunts. Imman has already composed two songs for the film.
