After Ajith, AR Murugadoss is now in talks with Vijay 

It is believed that Ajith and AR Murugadoss' talks have come to a standstill due to difference of opinions primarily due to remuneration levels. AR Murugadoss has now approached his favourite hero, Vijay, most likely with the same story. Vijay has tentatively agreed and cleared his dates for this movie starting middle of 2014. The discussions are in early stages of discussion showing positive signs of fruition.

In the meantime, AR Murugadoss is busy making adjustments to the Thuppakki script to suit the Hindi audience. The movie is tentatively titled "Pistol" with Akshay Kumar acting as Captain Virat. While Vijay is currently wrapping up AL Vijay's movie "Thalaivaa" and getting ready to begin his next movie with Mohan Lal titled "Jilla".
