STR's refreshing changeover for Chekka Chivantha Vaanam

The shoot of Mani Ratnam's mega multistarrer Chekka Chivantha Vaanam (CCV) began a few days back in Chennai. A picture of a dashing and stylish lead hero STR has already gone viral.

We hear that STR is reporting to the shoots very early in the morning, contrary to what is usually reported of him (as a late comer). He is giving it his all for CCV and is in fact finishing his portions way ahead of time. He has always been a single take artiste and in this fresh new innings, it is evident that he has also taken it upon himself to be punctual. His ongoing physical transformation is expected to take full form in a few more weeks' time.

Meanwhile the rumor mill has it that CCV is the story of 4 brothers (STR, Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swami and Arun Vijay) with industrial revolution as the backdrop.
