2.0 Teaser Update : Director Shankar says work going on in full swing

 

Rajinikanth's 2.0 which is a sequel to director Shankar's Enthiran has long kept fans waiting for a teaser. Now, an update on the teaser which was due to release last November has finally come across and it has been given by none other than the director himself. Taking to his twitter account, Shankar wrote :

While the last announced release date for the film is April 14, 2018 speculations are rife that the movie could be delayed further because of the said VFX works. Let us hope that things work out smoothly for the team and fans get to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars soon. 2.0 is produced by Lyca Productions and  has Rajinikanth playing the role of Dr. Vaseegaran - the scientist and Chitti - the robot. Amy Jackson plays a robot too in the film with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar playing the character of Dr. Richards who turns into a human-sized crow as a result of a wrong experiment.
