Vivegam becomes Ajith's career best opener in Tamil Nadu

Vivegam has emerged as Thala Ajith's career best opener in Tamil Nadu, beating his previous release Vedalam in 2015 (which was also an all-time record at that point). The first day Tamil Nadu gross of Vivegam is said to be around Rs 16 crores. Supertsar Rajinikanth's Kabali stays the all-time No.1 opener in Tamil Nadu.

The total TN theatrical rights of Vivegam are valued at around Rs. 55 CR and the film has a very long way to go. With extremely mixed talk, Vivegam has a really challenging road ahead after the end of this weekend. Stay tuned for the first weekend report on Monday.
