Ajith's super fit first look from Vivegam is not morphed and here's why
The first look from Ajith's 57th movie Vivegam was recently unveiled and the 45 year old star was seen sporting a chiselled physique with an apt tagline adorning the poster that said Believe in Yourself. The tagline is apt because as someone known for undergoing multiple surgeries and always fighting the extra kilos, to acheive this kind of a look is not an easy feat. Needless to say, his look garnered a lot of attention.
Was the poster morphed?
The display of his chiselled torso was lauded by fellow colleagues and appreciated by fans all over. However a section of people who believed that the six-pack in the poster is morphed and speculations became rife that the look on the poster is a result of special effects. One of the reasons these speculations started doing the rounds is because, in the past, Indian cinema's audience have been subject to a showcase of make-believe physiques of all forms. The six-pack notion in particular, has been constanty under the scanner for the mere fact that everyone seems to flaunt one.
And ever since Salman Khan who is celebrated as one of the fittest actor of the country, was exposed to have faked his cuts in a movie back in 2013, reports of top actors using VFX started surfacing. And this lead to the string of speculations that followed every six-pack unveiling.
Why we think it isn't
Even with all this in mind, one cannot ignore that fact that Ajith's fitness goal was definitely not achieved in a day. If one looks at the pictures released from the sets of Vivegam chronologically, it would be visible that he had worked on his body from time to time.
These pictures stand testament to the effort that went into giving us this jawdropping look.
Vivegam is the third collaboration of Ajith with director Siva and starrs Vivek Oberoi, Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan. The movie-in-the-making is likely to hit theatre screens on June 22, 2017.
