Thaandavam : Average 1st half. But, 2nd half saves the movie. It is an action and romance well packed entertainer. Blindman act of Chiyaan is Super. Overall Rating - 2.75/5

Dazzling chemistry of Vikram-Anushka is the heart warmer. Amy is plastic. Santhanam is as usual fun. Jagapathy Babu also in the movie. He has NOTHING to do in the movie. Direction could have been better, No Logic. Cinematography is super. BGM is good

Bottomline » The Chiyaan Show and comeback hit. Thaandavam is a One- time watch.

Nothing great about the movie. I do not see anything unusual about this revenge story. The two differences in this revenge story is that the hero is blind and the revenge takes place in London. Probably, it is because of my over-expectation on the movie. Nothing is really wrong with it and there are some good moments, but otherwise, it is quite flat. Overall, It is worth watching once.

Vikram looks old and his usual enthusiasm is missing. For e.g., he looked totally out of place in the wedding scene. Amy jackson is gorgeous. Anushka appears too serious. Laksmi rai has a limited role. Santhanam appears in the London segments... claps and whistles at his entry, especially when he mentions "thala". It is funny to see all white people dancing and singing in Tamil in London and foreign locations.  Couple of songs and BGM are good. Rating - 5/10. Even if you miss it, its no big loss.

Overall Thandavam is an above average movie with good mix of romance, action and comedy. If you go with high expectations you will find the movie average. If you go with minimum expectations you will find the movie good. Movie has excellent box office prospects and sure to become a Super Hit.

Thaandavam can tolerate, but not enjoyed with the film. Decent. Another Dhaam Dhoom kinda stuff. Songs picturised well but unwanted placement. Vikram tried to be handsome. Good acting as a blind man & police officer. Anushka is so beautiful. LakshimiRai in a Guest role. BGMs were decent. Santhanam decent too. I cant say that I never liked the film. Good ending. Watchable once.

Positives - Anushka's screen presence , flashback scenes and 2 songs. Cinematography was good but not extraordinary. Most part of the movie was in London (good locations). 

Negatives - length , draggy screen play , stupid logics. Jagapathy Babu is semma comedy. He doesn't even hold the gun properly. Thandavam very lengthy drama with little action

Thandavam is a mix of Comedy + Romance + Songs + Friendship + Family + Sentiments + Cheat +Revenge + Twists + Action..But the execution failed. The story is very much predictable even for a school going kid. Misplaced songs will test your patience.

Rating :2/5. Box office Verdict : May end up as a hit.
