Rajinikanth keen on wrapping up 2.0 by 2016

According to a little birdie in the film industry, Rajinikanth has requested director Shankar to wrap up the shooting of 2.0, the sequel of Endhiran, by December, 2016. He is keen on starting his next film for Dhanush's production house, Wunderbar Films, by early next year. The collaboration among the family members was announced a few days back with Pa. Ranjith being roped in for direction. And if everything goes well, Rajini will be seen filming for Ranjith and dubbing for Shankar in 2017.

2.0 has Akshay Kumar playing the main antagonist and even if the movie's shooting is completed this year, the extensive post-production activities will follow next year.
