Suriya's 24 beats Theri and I in USA Opening Box Office Suriya's 24, which released on May 6, has been doing extraordinary business in USA. According to Rentrak, the movie had grossed $1 Million revenue in its opening weekend, combining both Tamil and Telugu versions.

Interestingly, 24 has overhauled Vijay's recent blockbuster Theri and Vikram's I in this region's opening box office records. Only Rajinikanth's Endhiran and Lingaa had $1 Million opening revenue in USA before.
