24 is an intelligent mix of Science fiction and whistle worthy commercial entertaining elements. Suriya pulled off with his mannerisms and charms in most of the dragging moments in the first half of the movie. Suriya aces in all the three characters especially menacing Athreya is a treat to watch. Nithya Menon shines in the brief cameo. Vikram Kumar's gripping screenplay in the second half (except for the romance and song) makes this well made Sci-fi thriller enjoyable. Samantha's romance portions is a huge let-down although Vikram Kumar makes some of the portions interesting with imagine-o-romance-0-philia and some nice touches in an otherwise hugely boring romance track. Rahman's Music and BGM sounds apt although nothing extaordinary to offer from the composer. Cinematography is top notch with stunning visuals and frame color pallates are visually appealing. Overall, nice movie to watch especially for Suriya if one can tolerate first half of the movie. Comparisons with Indru Netru Naalai are bound to be there because of the same genre. INN surely was a sincere attempt and stays true to the genre of the movie with right healthy mix of comedy and Sci-fi elements. But Suriya needs to be lauded for experimenting with different scripts from Maatraan, 7 aum Arivu and now 24 unlike other A listed commercial actors in Tamil movie scenario. (more)

A visual treat for "sci-fi lovers" only. A movie that has to be watched only with confined logic. Too much of logical thinking will put a weird smile about the film. In other words a wonderfully executed film. Awesome acting from the crew members. Athreya stole the show. A must watch cult film. Enjoy in theatres. (more)

Best time travel movie that made in Indian cinema, Best VFX, Atheriya character was outstand, twist was worked well, few scence was reputative,some worked well and few was annoying, movie should be trimmed about 10 mins. 24 Film : An Neat and flourished Another Entertainer of the Year 2016. Film Had an great n difficult concept of Time Machine Travelling. Already v saw first evergreen film of time machine concept in Nettru Indru Naalai .. it's an steeping stone for this kind of concept but both has genuine story wise in their own way. Great Achievement and hard-work done by Dir.Vikram k kumar in this script. Pucca story and high screenplay held d audience in to the story strongly with out gets bored for this big sci-fi thriller. Suriya done fabulous role. sure i ll say his hard work seen in every frame n great come back by this film but not his best for best. His all time best ll be till as of now Varanam Ayiram only for me. This film stands next to it for surya for sure. samantha n nithya n saranya apt n acted very well. all the scenes were pictured so colourfully. Visuals are only not apt for songs. Slow pace songs n visuals are more slower rather than dance. Postive : Surya's performance and Songs and A.R.R Classic BGM. Last but not least jet screenplay la twistu mela twistu vachikitte iruntha Dir.Vikram k kumar than Man of the Film. Hats off. Negative: Too much of romance between lead pair samantha and surya. and songs location are amazing but dint made to feel the songs touches. interval block is bit disappointment n interval title as normal way. Interval block should be high class for this kind of racy Sci-fi Thriller. Rating: 4/5 Verdict : An Must Watch High-Fi n fully Entertained Sci-Fi Thriller film. Vikram K Kumar is surely one watchable director in future, Apart from Suriya, he is the only reason why i had some expectations for this film as his previous Manam was such a beautiful one and he makes sure to give a worthy product for the money we spent. 24 is another interesting Time travel concept from Tamil cinema Suriya as Sethuraman, Athireya,Mani performed very well. Vikram K Kumar's direction and Thiru Cinematography are Top Notch with good BGM. Special Mention to Saranya Ponvannan. The only let downs are few romantic scenes & songs. Over all this is a quality film to watch it. (more)
