Theri North America Box Office Report - Phenomenal Opening 

Vijay's Theri is going rock-steady in the North American region. Despite mixed reviews, the movie took one of the best openings for a Vijay movie in this region. As per early estimates, the movie had grossed $920k (USA: $650k, Canada: $270k) from the opening weekend in North America.

Theri at No.4 in USA

Theri has become the fourth highest opening grosser of all-time opening in the USA. Rajinikanth's opening record - Endhiran's record of $1.5 million, Lingaa's $1.3 million and Shankar's I's $697k still remain unshaken. However, the movie has surpassed the lifetime collections of Vijay's previous movies Kaththi and Puli in the USA from the opening weekend itself.
