Superstar Rajinikanth is all set to begin working on his next film soon, which will be directed by Pa Ranjith of Madras fame. The movie has been titled as "Kabali". The first look poster of the movie will be released on September 17. The shoot for the movie will begin on the same day in Chennai. It is said that Rajinikanth will be seen in a Don role and the title of the film has been derived from the character Kabalesswaran played by Rajinikanth.

The movie also stars Kalaiarasan, Dinesh, Radhika Apte and Dhansika  in the lead roles. Santhosh Naraynan will be scoring music for this film. The movie will be produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu.
