Thala 56 first half locked

Ajith's upcoming film with 'Siruthai' Siva, popularly referred to as Thala 56, went on floors in Chennai on May 7. The movie's shooting is progressing at a brisk pace. The recent update regarding the movie is that director Siva has completed dubbing and editing for the first half of the film. Now the team is shooting the climax portions. The title and first look of the film is expected to release on September 17.

Shruti Haasan plays a lawyer in the film and Ajith will be seen playing a role of taxi driver in the movie. The producer has planned for a big release on Diwali. Soori has been roped in to provide the comic relief, while Anirudh is scoring the music. The movie is produced by AM Ratnam's Sri Sai Ram Creations.
