Thala 56 updates

Ajith's upcoming film with 'Siruthai' Siva, popularly referred to as Thala 56, went on floors in Chennai on May 7. The movie's shooting is progressing at a brisk pace. Shruti Haasan plays a lawyer in the film and Ajith will be seen playing a role of taxi driver in the movie. The recent update is that the team had completed 65% of movie's shooting and the producer has planned for a big release on Diwali. 

Soori has been roped in to provide the comic relief, while Anirudh is scoring the music. The movie is produced by AM Ratnam's Sri Sai Ram Creations.
