Maari Preview - A Thara Local experience on the cards

Fresh out of the success of Anegan, Dhanush is back with the mass entertainer Maari (Who would have forgotten the 'Dangamaari'' track in Anegan?). Directed by Balaji Mohan, the movie has Kajal Agarwal as the leading lady, while Dhanush's regular Anirudh has scored music for the film. Check out what to expect from the film:

1. Dhanush's flamboyant show

Dhanush's character in Maari is more of an extension of his memorable 'Kaali' role in Anegan. With mass punch dialogues to accompany his super-rugged looks, Maari should be a treat for his ardent fans.

2. Balaji Mohan's new dimension

After making two romantic and feel-good multiplex films, Balaji Mohan has decided to impress the masses with this film. We will have to wait and watch if he succeeds in his attempt.

3. Anirudh's pulsating beats

Anirudh always reserves something special for Dhanush and this film is no different. 'Don'u Don'u' and 'Thara Local' tracks have become runaway chartbusters already and the song promos are creating just creating the right amount of buzz around the film. As usual, his background score should elevate the screen presence of Dhanush.

4. Fresh pair

Dhanush has been paired up with Kajal Agarwal for the first time. The pair, which was initially supposed to act in Polladhavan, will infuse some fresh romance on the screen.

Final Words

Set your expectations right and Maari could very well turn out to be an entertaining mass film. We will be back with the FDFS review.
