Maari is strictly average due to screenplay.. because of Dhanus acting and some good jokes the movie was watchable. (more)

Maari is something that couldn't be totally thrashed, as with weak direction and immature screenplay. Some wee bit of moments, scattered inside the movie makes it watchable to some extent. Other than those, Maari is a yawn. 1 star for those wee moments and wee part of Dhanush and Robo Shankar. (more)

#Maari a time pass entertainer ! Not that bad as many claimed. Dhanush had done his part well. Balaji Mohan is the biggest disappointment for me. Guess ppl wouldn't have complained this much, if this movie is by by suraj or sundarc. After giving some promising movies Balaji Mohan sticked to a masala route, which is even kinda half baked, routine, predictable. Balaji Mohan this is not You pls come back with an interesting movies like you does earlier (more)

Bro, @IAMVIJAYYESUDAS did a neat job in debut movie, eventhough its not fits him perfectly! Kudos! Still way to go!! #maari - Most of the comic-style dialogues are meant to someone silently!! A commercial entertainer! Drags a bit in 2nd half! Weak villains another setback! Overall, can watch it. #DnA combo's music is good but not better!! Few BGM portions are perfect! Felt glimpses of #badsha #thalaivaa scene #Maari Totally a fun-ride in gangster role!! Dhanush-RoboShankar combo is perfect! Robo's body language is a highlight for comedy! Terrific 1st half with full entertainment.. 2nd half bit down than 1st! As usual no script like in commercial movies! (more)

Watched Maari : There is a big hope for the Film before it release but after watching d film all went off .. As album disappointed same like tat film also average only ... Story wise nothing new .. Innum solla pona story eh ila padathula tongue emoticon .. Screenplay too nothing interesting n just like tat film went.. Only thing is Dhanush acting n Robo Shankar timing sense made d film to watch it fully .. Main draw back is Dir.Balaji Mohan's story n screenplay is weak .. and dhanush's continuously smoking n alcoholic scenes n its not apt for family audience n children's but i dont knw hw film got clean 'U' Certificate ... Anirudh Ravichander songs were disappointed but BGM managed it .. Song's visuals too nothing interesting n except first intro song .. Dhanush done good dance in intro song.. Kajal Aggarwal nee ellam ethuku tamil cinema la nadika vara nu therla .. and villan nu introduced vijay yesudas adengappa !! nee pesama un padura wrk mattum paru .. athaan moonji la nadipu varamatinguthu n no reaction n sense shown by him as villain n police officer too .. Verdict: Lot of over confidence by entire team made film not up to the level.. Dont go with expectation thn sure u ll feel for it .. just go n watch it once if ur Dhanush hardcore fan .. Pakka commercial movie . Dhanush Rocks. Robo Shankar is Ultimate if not him first half will turn boring. Once watchable for sure. Anirudh Bgm is partly good and partly felt noisy. (more)
