International and Domestic BO Report for Pongal Movies

Pongal movies have  brought in good collections over the weekend in the International market. By no means,It can be termed as spectacular.

UK

Nanban collected £113,418 from 24 screens, slightly higher than that of Mankatha. But, still much lower than that of Velayutham. Vettai's collection was below average in the UK with just £17,605 from 15 screens. 

USA

Nanban collections were not updated due to some data snag. The total collection is estimated to be around $200,000 to $250,000 for US and Canada (lower than that of Mankatha and 7aum Arivu... but twice as high as Velayutham). Vettai collected $87,000 from 33 screens with low per screen average.

Tamil Nadu

The first 5 days collection for Nanban is estimated around 30 Crores including the big day on Kaanum Pongal. The collections touting 57Crores are blatantly wrong and just rumors (to put it in perspective, Velayudham in its 60 day run collected close to 65 to 70 Crores)
