Superstar's Lingaa shooting delayed

Superstar Rajnikanth's Lingaa unit has been shooting in Andhra for few days now. When the team was canning scenes involving Rajinikanth, the people of Anajpur, a small village in Andhra tried to stop the shooting complaining that, whenever a shooting happens, wastes and chemicals are mixed in the nearby lake, hence it's getting polluted. But the crew explained them calmly stating that they have permission from the local authorities and assured them that the lake will not be polluted. Similar incident occurred when director Rajamouli was shooting for his "Bahubali" with Prabhas sometime ago.

Lingaa starring Superstar Rajinikanth, Anushka and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles is directed by K.S Ravikumar.  Santhanam, Jagapathi Babu are also part of the cast. Lingaa is set to hit the screens on December 12,2014 on the occasion of Superstar's Birthday. Music is by A.R Rahman. The film is produced by Rockline Venkatesh.
