Shankar Mahadevan does it after 8 years for Anegan

The shooting of KV Anand's Anegan is in its final stages. The team is set to begin the final schedule of the film on June 2. Only two songs and the climax portions are left to be shot.

On the musical front, Harris Jayaraj has recorded a song with Shankar Mahadevan. Harris Jayaraj tweeted, "Just recorded Mr.Shankar mahadevan for a track in "Anegan" after 8 years. Still his voice sounds very fresh and energetic." The song was penned by Vairamuthu. Shankar Mahadevan had lastly recorded for films like Anniyan, Thotti Jaya and Ghajini under Harris Jayaraj's music.

Director KV Anand tweeted, "Shanker Mahadevan sang for Harris tunes and for Padmabhusan Vairamuthu's lyrics. Sync of Good music,lyrics &voice is Magical"

The album has totally five songs. Recently Bhavaratharani had a crooned a duet track in Anegan along with Dhanush. Vairamuthu had penned the lyrics for this song.
