Simbu - Selvaraghavan film on hold due to Irandam Ulagam issue

It was announced earlier that Simbu will be teaming up with Selvaraghavan soon, and the film will be produced by Varun Manian of Radiance Media. Also, Trisha was supposed to team up with Simbu after smash hit VinnaithaandiVaruvaaya. However, the latest update is that the film has been put on hold now.

Irandam Ulagam's loss 

The reason behind this is the huge loss incurred by Selvaraghavan's previous project Irandam Ulagam, produced by PVP Cinemas. Varun Manian has decided to start the Simbu - Selvaraghavan project only after the issues between Selva and PVP Cinemas are settled amicably.
