Vadivelu and Santhanam to join Lingaa?

The shooting of Lingaa is progressing at a brisk pace at Mysore. Rajnikanth, Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinhaa play the lead roles. 

The makers of Lingaa have approached the two top comedians Vadivelu and Santhanam to act in the film. The film spans across two different periods. Santhanam and Vadivelu have been approached for the different segments of the film. 

Vadivelu who has made a grand re-entry into Kollywood with Thenaliraman has been getting several offers and is in the process of finalizing new films. Vadivelu is likey to get on board for Lingaa though he hasn’t signed on the dotted line. The combo of Rajnikanth and Vadivelu rocked the screens in Chandramukhi with their unforgettable comedy.

Santhanam on the other hand has not given his final consent yet. Santhanam is currently busy with the release of his film Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham which is hitting the screens on May 10.

Lingaa is directed by KS Ravikumar and has music by AR Rahman.  The 1940s segment of the film is currently being shot with Rajnikanth and Sonakshi Sinha.
