Touted to be a psychological action thriller, Madharaasi starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead is an upcoming AR Murugadoss film that is set to release on September 5, 2025. Sri Lakshmi Movies has now officially announced that Madharaasi's audio and trailer launch will take place on August 24, 2025 (Sunday) at Sai Ram College, Chennai. 

Before Madharaasi's audio launch and trailer release, a second single from the movie titled Vazhiyiraen will be unveiled on August 23, 2025 (Saturday). Madharaasi has Anirudh Ravichander for music, and the composer has self-sung the film's second single. Vazhiyiraen has lyrics by Vignesh Shivan; Junglee Music holds the audio rights to Madharassi.
