Coolie starring Rajinikanth in the lead is an upcoming action thriller that is all set to release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi (as Coolie: The Powerhouse), and Kannada languages on August 14, 2025. Coolie trailer in all languages is out, and currently being screened in theaters during breaks and as fillers. 

Recently, a social media user on the X platform has claimed that a screening of Coolie: The Powerhouse Hindi trailer at the famous multiplex chain PVR, showcased a never-before-seen footage from the movie.

A mobile screen recording of this Coolie Hindi trailer showcases that instead of the final scene where Rajinikanth meets Aamir Khan in the middle of a desert, with silhouettes of Shruthi Haasan and Upendra visible in the background, the footage shown is flashback Rajinikanth in his 'Thee' coolie avatar, pointing at a group of people standing above him, with what looks like a pen.

While the reason behind the footage swap between the Coolie trailer's YouTube version and theatrical version remains unknown, fans have been excited about the new glimpse, even if it was just the backside of a younger 'Deva'. 

Coolie is written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and tells the story of a mysterious man (Rajinikanth), who takes a stand against a corrupt syndicate that exploits, and abuses the workers of a port town. The Sun Pictures production is censored A, and comes with a runtime of 2 hours 49 minutes 57 seconds.
