Superstar Rajinikanth's Coolie is gearing up for a worldwide release on August 14, 2025, and overseas bookings and pre-sales of the movie are expected to set some record breaking opening numbers for Tamil Cinema. Tolly Movies is presenting Coolie in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea, and advance booking for Coolie in these Oceania countries opened on July 30, 2025. 

Within 8 days, 15000+ Coolie tickets stand sold in Australia and New Zealand from advance bookings. The pre-sales box-office of Coolie in Australia and New Zealand has currently exceeded 300 AUD (Rs. 1.71 Cr approximately).  

Hamsini Entertainment is the overseas distributor of Coolie, a Tamil film produced by Sun Pictures, written and diected by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and also starring Shruthi Haasan, Sathyaraj, Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Aamir Khan, Pooja Hegde, among others in its ensemble. 

Coolie comes with a runtime of 169.57 minutes, and tells the story of a mysterious man (Rajinikanth), who takes a stand against a corrupt syndicate, exploiting and abusing the workers of a port town. The action thriller movie has Anirudh Ravichander for music, and Anbariv for the stunts.
