Thalaivan Thalaivii starring Vijay Sethupathi, Nithya Menen in the lead is an upcoming Tamil language romantic comedy that is also set to release in Telugu under the title Sir Madam. Three years after the Suriya starrer Etharkkum Thunindhavan, writer, director Pandiraj is making a comeback with Thalaivan Thalaivii under Sathya Jyothi Films production banner. 

Thalaivan Thalaivii releases in theaters on July 25, 2025, and it was officially announced on Wednesday that the film's trailer will be out tomorrow. The trailer release date of Thalaivan Thalaivii, and its Telugu version Sir Madam is July 17, 2025. 

Pandiraj is a filmmaker whose strength is portraying rustic stories, and with Thalaivain Thalaivii, he tells the tale of a headstrong couple Aagasaveeran (Vijay Sethupathi), and Perarasi (Nithya Menen) who navigate a turbulent relationship, where passion and conflicts intertwine. Comedy actor Yogi Babu plays 'Chithirai' in this story among other supporting acts.
