[Updated: June 28, 2025] In December 2024 on Superstar Rajinikanth's birthday, it was revealed that one of T Rajhendherr's famous interviews where he came up with a tune and term for Chikitu, has been incorporated by music composer Anirudh Ravichander as the film's first single.

As an ode to T Rajhendherr himself, Anirudh turned Chikitu into a full blown song with lyrics worked on by rapper Arivu, and vocals lent by Anirudh, Arivu, and T Rajhendherr himself. On June 21, 2025 Chikitu released as a whole song in multiple languages, and now TR has recreated his famous interview as an ode to the Coolie movie.

The music video for Chikitu with a dance feature by T Rajhendherr is currently out in Tamil and Telugu languages. Coolie is written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, produced by Sun Pictures, and releases in theaters on August 14, 2025.
