Retro starring Suriya and Pooja Hegde in the lead is a Karthik Subbaraj film that released in theaters on May 1, 2025. After collecting Rs. 235 Cr. worldwide in theatrical and non-theatrical revenue, Retro completes three weeks of run in theaters today.

Marking the occassion, the makers of Retro have unveiled the video song of the viral dance number Kanimaa from their movie. Kanimaa is picturized on Suriya, Pooja Hegde, and features special dance appearances from Joju George who plays Suriya's father, Singam Puli who plays Pooja Hegde's father, and film's music composer Santhosh Narayanan.
