It has now been officially revealed that Mugamoodi (2012), Beast (2022) actress Pooja Hegde, who is currently part of atleast three Tamil movies titled Retro (Suriya), Jana Nayagan (Vijay), and Kanchana 4 (Raghava Lawrence), is doing a special dance number in the Rajiinikanth starrer Coolie. 

Coolie marks Pooja Hegde's debut collaboration with both Superstar Rajinikanth, and director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The Sun Pictures produced Coolie is the actress' second outing with the production banner after Beast.

Interestingly, Coolie is Pooja Hegde's third musical with composer Anirudh Ravichander after Jana Nayagan and Beast. A multi-starrer action with Rajinikanth playing a character named Deva, Coolie plans to release in August, 2025. 

The movie also stars Nagarjuna as Simon, Upendra as Kaleesha, Soubin Shahir as Dayal, Sathyaraj as Rajasekar, Shruti Haasan as Preethi, Reba Monica John, Junior MGR, among others. Besides Pooja Hegde, Bollywood star Aamir Khan also makes a cameo appearance in Coolie.
