Maharaja's Chinese version Karma And Retribution does big box-office numbers in China

Maharaja titled after a 2011 Tamil movie, is a Vijay Sethupathi, Anurag Kashyap starrer 2024 Tamil film that released in theaters on June 14, 2024. The Nithilan Saminathan directed Maharaja recently had a Chinese version release under the title Karma And Retribution, and talk of the town is the box-office collection of Maharaja in China. 


 

Not only was Maharaja's release in China well marketed, but the movie has managed to rake in close to ¥22.729M i.e. Rs. 26.55 Cr. till 10 AM on Monday (December 2, 2024).  Maharaja's China Box Office:

Maharaja's box-office opening in China has certainly made heads turn, even if the film is miles behind the highest grossing Indian movies in the country.
