Good Bad Ugly: GV Prakash to score for Ajith's film

Good Bad Ugly starring Ajith Kumar in the lead is an upcoming Tamil film written and directed by Aadhik Ravichandran. A Mythri Movie Makers production, Good Bad Ugly has music by Devi Sri Prasad. Recently, it was revealed that Tamil composer GV Prakash is onboard Good Bad Ugly, for the background score of the movie.

Kanguva, Devi Sri Prasad's last release in Tamil earned brickbats for the jarring sound in the movie. Considering the same, the Tamil fans were relieved that Good Bad Ugly's score will be handled by GV Prakash, DSP (as he is fondly known) has confessed on the other hand that Mythri Movie Makers have complaints that Devi Sri Prasad takes time in delivering the background score.

Speaking on stage at the 'Pushpa 2 Wild Fire' event held in Chennai, Devi Sri Prasad said, "Ravi sir, you've been blaming me saying that I didn't deliver the song or the background score on time. I know you love me. Where there is love, there are complaints as well. But, I think you have more complaints about me than love.". While the statement was made about Allu Arjun starrer Telugu movie Pushpa 2: The Rule, many have been equating it to Good Bad Ugly as well. Notably, Pushpa 2: The Rule will also have score by a different set of music producers namely Thaman S, Sam CS, and Ajaneesh B Lokanath.

Good Bad Ugly still has 7 days of shooting left. Along with the score, GV Prakash is also said to be composing the title track for the movie. Devi Sri Prasad is said to have composed atleast 4 songs for Ajith's film which also stars Trisha, Prasanna, Prabhu, Jayaram, Harish Uthaman, Arjun Das, Sunil, M. S. Bhaskar, Rahul Dev, Vaiyapuri, Yogi Babu among others.
