Trisha Krishnan Resumes Filming for Thug Life Song Sequence

Trisha Krishnan, who stars as the female lead in the film Thug Life, directed by Mani Ratnam and featuring Kamal Haasan, has resumed filming for her remaining song sequence.

While the team had completed all the talkie portions of the film, this exciting musical number was still outstanding. Composed by Academy Award-winning musician A.R. Rahman, the song is particularly special to Trisha, who described it as a "masterpiece."

The sequence features a sufi-style Kathak dance, reminiscent of the iconic "Kannalane" from Ratnam’s classic film Bombay.

Thug Life, a thrilling gangster film, features a strong ensemble cast that includes Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Trisha, Gautham Karthik, Ashok Selvan, Abhirami, Nassar, Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Vaiyapuri, among others. The film's original background score and soundtrack are composed by A.R. Rahman, a renowned musical maestro.
