Prime Media, distributors of Sivakarthikeyan's Amaran in USA have announced that advance bookings for the movie are now open in the region. Amaran is scheduled to release this October 31, 2024, and is meeting Jayam Ravi's rom com Brother, and actor Kavin's black comedy Bloody Beggar at the Diwali box-office.

Prime Media has announced that the Amaran premiere shows will be screened at Cinemark, USA and have unveiled the list of theaters to reserve tickets at. Amaran is the first Sivakarthikeyan movie to have a screening in large format in the US.

In India, team Amaran has gathered for a grand audio launch event at the moment, and excerpts of the same can be found on X under the hashtag '#AmaranAudioLaunch'. Late Indian army major Mukund V, on whose biography the film is based is represented by his surviving wife Indhu Rebecca Varghese, and only daughter at this event. 

Amaran is written and directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy and produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International, Sony Pictures. The film has GV Prakash for music, and Sai Pallavi playing female lead.
