Suriya 45 (tentative title) is actor Suriya's 45th film which is written and directed by RJ Balaji, and produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. The movie with AR Rahman for music, was recently in the news for adding actress Kashmira Pardeshi to its female star cast.

MovieCrow now hears that talks are on to cast Suriya 45's female lead. Team Suriya 45 is considering actors Mrunal Thankur and Rukmini Vasanth, and it remains to be seen which of these names come on board.

An official announcement on Suriya 45's cast and crew is currently awaited. Buzz also has it that Suriya 45's is titled Karuppu, and it was originally penned by RJ Balaji for actress Trisha as Maasani Amman. Suriya 45 is touted to be a male version of it, and 'divine fantasy' is expected to be its genre.
