It has now been officially announced that Tamil star actor Ajith Kumar is reverting to racing, and besides going back to the driver's seat, Ajith has also launched his own team called 'Ajith Kumar racing'. Ajith and his team will be competing in the European racing circuits for this new season. Belgian racer Fabian Duffieuxwill has been announced as the official driver of the Ajith Kumar racing team.

Ajith is currently awaiting the release of Vidaamuyarchi, and is part of another Tamil film titled Good Bad Ugly. The actor last participated in competitive racing circuits in 2010.
