Vettaiyan starring Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan among others is an upcoming multi-starrer movie which is slated for an October 10 release this Dussehra. Vettaiyan's Malayalam version is releasing under the same name, and Lyca Productions has now announced that Vettaiyan's  Kerala distribution rights have been bagged by Sree Gokulam Movies. 

The announcement amidst Vettaiyan's first single Manasilaayo becoming a chartbuster, and Manju Warrier who plays Rajinikanth's wife in the film, being heaped praises for her dance in the number. Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, Manasilaayo is sung by Deepthi Suresh, Anirudh Ravichander and Yugendran Vasudevan who has aided in bringing back the voice of his late father Malayasia Vasudevan through AI. 

Vettaiyan is written and directed by Tj Gnanavel of Jai Bhim (2021), Kootathil Oruthan (2017) fame. The movie is touted to be an action drama. Vettaiyan's OTT rights are with Amazon Prime Video. Sony Music label holds the audio rights to the film's soundtrack. Vettaiyan's satellite rights are with the Sun TV network, in all languages.
