Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK) is actor Dhanush's third film as director following Raayan (2024), and Pa Paandi (2017), and the romantic comedy is currently gearing up for a first single release titled Golden Sparrow on August 30, 2024 (Friday). 

A GV Prakash composition, Golden Sparrow has vocals by Subhlashini, GV Prakash, rapper Arivu and Dhanush himself. The lyrics for the song are penned by Arivu. Actress Priyanka Mohan makes a special appearance in this number.  

A production venture of Dhanush's Wunderbar Films, and RK Productions, NEEK marks the acting debut of Dhanush's nephew Pavish. Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Mathew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, Ramya Ranganathan, are the other actors in this film.
