Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan in the lead, is a Shankar directed sequel to the actor-director's vigilante blockbuster Indian (1996). Indian 2 released in theaters on July 12, 2024, and six months before the movie's release, Netflix announced that Indian 2's digital premiere would be on their OTT platform. Now Netflix has confirmed Indian 2's OTT release date as August 9, 2024. 

Indian 2 will stream on Netflix in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages this Friday. 

Indian 2 Hindi i.e. Hindustani 2's OTT release awaits official announcement. The movie produced by Lyca Productions, Red Giant Movies has Anirudh Ravichander for music, and also stars Siddharth, SJ Suryah, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Rakul Preet Singh among others.
