Thangalaan starring actor Vikram in the lead is an upcoming Pa. Ranjith directorial, that has GV Prakash for music. On Monday, GV Prakash updated via his X handle that he has completed the background score work for Thangalaan. The music composer also revealed that Thangalaan trailer is all set for release and will be dropping soon.

A Studio Green production, Thangalaan is based on real life colonial era events surrounding Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) in Karnataka. Buzz has it that Thangalaan release date is August 15, 2024 [Independence day], while an official announcement on the same is awaited.
