Actor Kamal Haasan and ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam are reuniting after 37 years on a film titled Thug Life, and the movie's updated cast list has a new addition. Thug Life was previously supposed to star actors Dulquer Salmaan and Jayam Ravi, both of whom dropped out citing scheduling conflicts, as there was a delay with Thug Life shooting. 

While Silambarasan TR went on to replace Dulquer, actor Ashok Selvan has recently replaced Jayam Ravi in Thug Life. Other actors revealed to be part of Thug Life's updated cast are Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, Abhirami, Nasser, Vaiyapuri, and Bollywood's Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Sanya Malhotra among others. 

Tamil actor Gautham Karthik was previously announced to be part of Thug Life, but his name has been left out in the latest X updates of Raaj Kamal Films International, Red Giant Movies and Madras Talkies - producers of the film.
