Vettaiyan is an upcoming Rajinikanth starrer, produced by Lyca Productions and written, directed by TJ Gnanavel. The movie has Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan play a special role, and the makers have now unveiled a new set of behind-the-scenes (BTS) stills from Vettaiyan sets. 

Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan were last seen together on screen in the 1991 Bollywood action Hum. Vettaiyan marks the reunion of the two senior actors after 33 years.

Touted to be a hard-hitting action entertainer based on a true story, Vettaiyan will see Rajinikanth play a Muslim police officer. The movie also stars Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, among others and has Anirudh Ravichander for music.
