Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha written and directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon is an upcoming Tamil language action thriller that is set to release in theaters on March 1, 2024. The movie stars actor Varun in the lead, who made his debut with Oru Naal Iravil (2015), and prior to that appeared in an uncredited role in the Vijay starrer Thalaivaa (2013). 

After a string of supporting roles, Varun appeared as one of the lead actors in the theatrical release romantic anthology - Kutty Story (2021). He was also a contestant on Bigg Boss Tamil 5 (2021-2022) for 84 days.  Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha is actor Varun's first solo lead movie, and the film's trailer has now been unveiled by producers Vels Film International. 

Also starring Raahei, Krishna, Yogi Babu, Dhivyadharshini, actress and Bigg Boss Tamil 7 contestant Vichitra among others, Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha has singer Karthik for music, SR Kathir for cinematography, Yannick Ben for action, Kumar Gangappan for production design and Anthony for edits. 

The movie's story follows Joshua (Varun), a skilled assassin who takes the responsibility of protecting Kundhavi Chidambaram (Raahei), a high-profile woman being targeted by dangerous gangsters.
