Vettaiyan starring Rajinikanth in the lead is an upcoming TJ Gnanavel directorial, which is currently in its filming stage. Latest update on this movie is that Vettaiyan shooting, is all set to wrap by March, 2024 which is next month. Rajinikanth will be completing his portions a little earlier in the next three weeks. 

Overall Vettaiyan has completed 85% of filming so far. A Lyca Productions venture, Vettaiyan is currently expected to release in theaters for Diwali, 2024. The movie has Anirudh for music, SR Kathir for cinematography, Philomin Raj for edits.
