Lal Salaam is written by Vishnu Rangasamy, Aishwarya Rajinikanth and directed by the latter. The movie is a cricket based political drama and has Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth playing leads. Rajini makes a special appearance as Moideen Bhai in the movie and the Anbalane song seems to be dedicated to his Mumbai-based Muslim character.
