Actor Ajith Kumar's 62nd film i.e. AK 62, was picked up by the digital streaming platform Netflix even before it had taken its current form of Vidaa Muyarchi. MovieCrow had previously reported that Vidaa Muyarchi's OTT rights were signed for a whopping Rs. 75 Cr., and now Netflix has confirmed that Vidaa Muyarchi will be streaming in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada post the movie's theatrical release.

Touted to be an action thriller, Vidaa Muyarchi is written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni and marks lead actors Ajith and Trisha's fifth film together after hits Yennai Arindhaal (2015), Mankatha (2011), Kreedam (2007) and Ji (2005).  Vidaa Muyarchi shooting has been going on and off in Azerbaijan since Ocotber, 2023, and the movie's first look is expected to release by February 2024.

Buzz also has it that actor Ajith will be completing his shoot portions by mid-February this year. A Lyca Productions venture, Vidaa Muyarchi also stars Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, Aarav among others. The movie has Anirudh for music, Sony Music label for audio rights and Sun TV for satellite rights.
