Marking Superstar Rajinikanth's 73rd birthday today, the makers of his upcoming film Lal Salaam unveiled a new video which gives us a glimpse of Rajini as Moideen Bhai from the movie. Both the video and the new poster unveiled of Rajinikanth's confirms Pongal, 2024 release i.e. Lal Salaam's release in January next year. 

Written and directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, Lal Salaam stars Vishnu Vishal, Vikranth in the lead. Titled after the South Asian communist chant, the movie revolves around Hindi-Muslim politics and sports. A Lyca Productions venture, Lal Salaam has AR Rahman for music.
