7 Screen Studio, the production banner behind Vijay starrer Leo has finally broken its silence on the Trisha-Mansoor Ali Khan controversy. Leo producers' statement comes after rape apologist Mansoor Ali Khan refused to apologize to Trisha for insinuating that he would have liked 'bedroom scenes' with her in Leo. Condemning the same, 7 Screen Studio took to X to post,
We are deeply dismayed by actor Mansoor Ali Khan's disrespectful speech. Such behavior is unacceptable and completely contradicts our core values of respect and equality. We stand united in condemning this behavior.

Leo female lead Trisha upon viewing a video clip of Mansoor where he expresses desire to have rape scenes with her, vowed to never share screen space with the soon to be 62 year old. The National Commission of Women (NCW) took suo moto cognizance, and directed the DGP of Tamil Nadu to take legal action against the actor.

The South Indian Artistes Association aka the Nadigar Sangam temporarily suspended Mansoor Ali Khan, post a social media outrage. Leo director Lokesh Kanagaraj was among the firsts to stand with Trisha in condemning Mansoor. Admist all this, Mansoor Ali Khan arranged for a press meet at his office this morning, and demeaned Trisha even more.
