Jailer starring Rajinikanth in the lead is a black comedy action that released in theaters on August 10, 2023. The movie written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures, is now all set for a World Television Premiere (WTP). Sun TV, that holds the satellite rights to Jailer has officially announced that Jailer will be aired on their Tamil channel as a Diwali special telecast on November 12, 2023 [Sunday] at 6: 30 PM.

Set around a retired police officer named 'Tiger' Muthuvel Pandian, Jailer is about how he takes down an idol smuggling cartel after they make things personal. The movie has Anirudh Ravichander for music and has been streaming on the Amazon Prime Video OTT platform since September 7, 2023.

The ensemble of Jailer's cast includes names like Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, Jackie Shroff, Vasanth Ravi, Tamannaah Bhatia, Telugu actor Sunil, Yogi Babu, Mirnaa Menon, child actor Rythvik, late G.
