Thalaivar 170 (tentative title) is actor Rajinikanth's upcoming movie which is written and directed by TJ Gnanavel. The film marks the reunion of Rajinikanth and Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachchan after 33 years onscreen. Touted to be a huge entertainer with a social message, Thalaivar 170 was being shot in Mumbai over the last few days, and now this Mumbai schedule has come to an end.

Lyca Productions updated the same by sharing a BTS picture of Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan. Several other BTS pictures of Rajini and Big B have also been shared on social media in recent times, from the film's sets. 

The ensemble of Thalaivar 170 also includes names like Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Rakshan, GM Soundar among others. The film's technical crew includes Anirudh Ravichander for music, SR Kathir for cinematography and Philomin Raj for edits.
