Thalaivar 170 (tentative title) is actor Rajinikanth's next film as a lead. The movie was first announced by Lyca Productions in March, 2023 with Jai Bhim fame TJ Gnanavel as director and Anirudh as music composer. Today, the production banner has revealed that actress Dushara Vijayan will be playing female lead in Thalaivar 170. 

Lyca Productions' Subaskaran is producing Thalaivar 170, whereas GMK Tamil Kumaran is executive producting the project. Currently the banner is busy revealing the official cast and crew list dubbed 'Thalaivar 170 squad', on their social media handles.
