After Rs. 1 Cr. donation towards heart surgery of 100 children, Sun Pictures has now donated Rs. 60 lakhs towards the treatment of underpreviledged cancer patients, in the name of celebrating Jailer's success.

Jailer starring Rajinikanth in the lead released in theaters on August 10 and made its OTT premiere on Amazon Prime Video at midnight i.e. September 7, 2023. Jailer's success celebration involves Sun Pictures making charitable donations towards hospitals in Chennai, and the latest to receive a cheque is Adyar Cancer Institute.

Before this, Sun Pictures had donated to Apollo Hospitals in the city. Jailer's estimated box-office collection is said to be Rs. 600 Cr+ in worldwide gross.
